About these terms

These terms apply to anyone who uses chaptrly.eu, submits an innovation, or joins as a founding participant. By using the site or registering as a member, you accept them. Chaptrly.eu is an initiative of Renew the Book, initiative of the Groep Algemene Uitgevers GAU, the Dutch Publishing Association, Hobaostraat 8, 1101 CZ Amsterdam.

What Chaptrly.eu is

Chaptrly.eu is a curated knowledge platform documenting innovation in the European book and publishing sector. Organisations submit cases; a rotating editorial and curation board reviews and decides what is published. Chaptrly.eu makes reasonable efforts to keep the platform accurate and useful, but does not guarantee that any entry is complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose.

Membership and submissions

• Participating organisations may submit innovations for review, following the format described on the Join page.
• Submitting an entry does not guarantee publication. The editorial and curation board applies its own criteria and may request changes or decline an entry.
• By submitting an entry, you confirm you have the right to share the information and any supporting material, and you grant Chaptrly.eu a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, display, and distribute it as part of the platform.
• You remain the owner of your submitted content. You may ask us to update or remove it at any time, subject to reasonable notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false, misleading, or infringing content, not to misuse the platform to harass others or distribute unsolicited commercial material, and not to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site.

No professional advice

Content on Chaptrly.eu is shared for information and inspiration. It is not legal, financial, or professional advice, and using an idea from the platform is at your own responsibility.

Liability

Chaptrly.eu and Renew the Book are not liable for damages arising from use of the platform or reliance on published content.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes will be brought before the competent court in Amsterdam.
